Not your average bike. Started as a regular Street Glide and was custom painted as a tribute to the 70s-80s rock band “Twisted Sister” from New Jersey. The bike was completely airbrushed with songs from their various albums. An amazing looking bike that has still all the Street Glide feel to it.
It was equipped with a 6-speed Baker Transmission and has the original 96ci Harley motor. Plenty of power with plenty of looks. Everything on the bike works. Low 16K miles for this 16-year old bike. The bike was shown at several shows in the NE over the years, then moved to Florida and is now up for sale. A Full Throttle Magazine article comes with the bike showcasing what was done to the bike.
The clearcoat on the front fairing has some damage as you can see in the walk-around video and the lower edges of the saddlebags show the usual rash. The front fender must have been repainted at one point. The rear Street glide cover between the fender and bags was replaced with a modern lighted cover but the original cover comes with it and has airbrush work on it as well.
Street Glide (FLHX) is the most popular platform frame in the Harley lineup today. The touring frame shared with the smaller Road King and the bigger Electra Glide makes the Street Glide a perfect cross bike between cruising and touring. It has the bags to go on long trips, the radio and all the comfort, yet is still agile enough to be comfortable riding at low speeds as well.
Street Glides are also used as the most common base to convert to the popular “Bagger” look with extended fender and extended saddlebags and lowered for the Dragger look.
