Nice example of a Sportster Super Low with low seat height allowing shorter riders easy foot control. The bike has a few little flaws cosmetically speaking but overall is a nice presentable Harley for someone who is looking to ride mostly city. Agile and easy handling.
The Sportster has been the most recognized small Harley even though it really is a rather heavy bike for what is considered “Entry Level”. Not surprising some Harley riders with bigger bikes add a Sportster to their own garage for the quick run-around trip without bringing out the “big gun”. It is heavy enough to ride solid yet agile enough to just fling it around. Loved by shorter and female riders for its easy handling and loved by big guys for the power/weight ratio.
The Sportster is offered in two power units. The traditional 883 engine and the 1200 engine. Both are equally interesting bikes with tons of options by aftermarket manufacturers to customize this bike from head to toe for small money.

This is a perfect example as to how maintenance and condition plays more of a roll than mileage. Clearly enjoyed for the past 27 years but lovingly maintained during each ownership. The bike is clean with no issues, runs perfect, was used last as a daily rider. New tires, beautiful wheels, paint is excellent with very minor blemishes. The expert recognizes this bike as an older classic with the old direct mounted engine frame but the condition suggests it would be only a few years old with few miles. The bike had a lowering kit installed for a short rider, easily adjusted back to stock.
A perfect bike for a collection or someone who wants to go riding. Carbureted with everything perfectly tuned. Nothing to do here but ride.
