This bike is not just any Road King but a police edition that was used and serviced by Orange County Sheriff in Orlando and was converted to a super cool looking custom cruiser. Pearl White paint shimmers in the sunlight, the 5in dropped bags add the dropped look and the 21in front wheel sets this bike apart hidden with a wrap around fender. There are a few more modifications you may want to do based on your personal choices. Add apes to this bike or go with low beach bars, your choice. Possibly have the front headlight nacelle painted in pearl white as well?
The bike runs perfect but the ABS is disabled. It came from the PD like that with some officers preferring not to have ABS on their bikes. But we did not go into how to connect it back up. The driving lights next to the headlight are not connected since they were originally on the pursuit mode, which legally had to be disconnected. They would need to be wired back in if you want those. Turn signals work and the mirrors are Police mirrors.
Because it was a Police bike this motor is extremely strong. Brand new front tire of course and the rear is in very good condition. Nothing to do here but ride and enjoy and maybe add some finishing touches to your liking if you must.
Harley Davidson’s Road King is the smallest of the big touring bikes. The main reason why Police Departments use this bike as their choice of police bikes is the agility yet the comfort and ability to carry heavy equipment to do their work. It is the perfect in between when you do not want to take out the big and bulky Street Glides or Electra Glides, yet if you want to go on a trip add a tour pack easy to the quick-connects and you are riding with all the trunk space you need.

2009 Harley Davidson Road King
Motor: 1,584cc (96ci Big Twin)
Frame: Touring
Transmission: 6-speed
Mileage: 45,283
Stock: 09HD92-4999
This bike is a little rough around the edges. It was registered with 35K miles in late 2024 and now has 45K miles. Clearly runs excellent. The bike has several cosmetic flaws. The rather obvious body blemishes here and there. Bags scruffed up pretty bad and several other body parts with heavy scratches. There is some minor rust that is mostly due to the bike having been outside for a little time. The left side hand controls are missing a set screw and are loose and the throttle cables are in need to an adjustment or replacement. Shown in the photos is the bike missing the headlight bezzle. That was installed since.
Yes, this bike is no showstopper. But it is a great base and an amazing price for a 2009 with the 96ci motor that runs like a bat out of hell.

This bike is one of the last Road Kings produced with a carburetor. By 2004 almost all touring bikes had electronic fuel injection. Rare to find one of these, especially in this magnificent condition. Low mileage on this bike as well. Clearly loved and cared for the bike was papered and is ready for some more adventures. Lots of bang for your buck. Tires are in good condition. The carburetor could use a good tune and possibly a cleaning or just ride it on I95 for a little to blow it out!
