The Company BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products) has best been known for their snowmobile line. Based in Quebec Canada they ventured in 2008 into making a snowmobile for summer with the CanAm Spyder. The parent company is of course also known for their line of excellent private airplanes and larger commuter jets.
This CanAm Spider is the SE5 version with the 990 Rotax engine. It is fast and fun. Those that have ridden these know what they are capable off.
This particular Spyder has some small cosmetic flaws. There are touched up marks on the left front pod and a small tear on the seat front edge right side. See the walk-around video for details. The “Brake Failure warning” is coming on but there is no evidence the brakes have any issues. On research this appears to be a common problem with a sensor that is sending wrong messages.
Our shop does not deal with CanAms and other trikes. We priced this Spyder accordingly taking the cosmetic flaws and brake warning into account. If this Spyder does not sell in the next days we will send it to auction.

This is a rare find. The bike was purchased by the last owner new and he never really got to ride the bike much. Very low original miles on this bike. Our mechanic went through the bike entirely and cleaned out the fuel system and replaced injectors, fixed a few issues and now this nearly 20-year old new bike is ready for an owner who will start adding the miles it deserves. The tires on the bike are original tires and should be replaced for being aged out. However, they do not show signs of cracking and appear soft. .
The C50 Boulevard was originally known as the C50 Volusia since it was unveiled in 2001 in Dayton Bike Week, which is in Volusia County. The 800cc engine was carbureted until 2004 and with the 2005 Model the “Volusia” was replaced with “Boulevard” and a fuel injection was added to the bike.
C50s are quick, reliable and agile and offer everything from cruising along nice and slow to good sprints with a great power/weight ratio.
