A 1200 Iron Sportster in the famous AMF retro color combination is both a classic Sportster look but packs the punch of the modern 1200cc Sportster motor.
The bike is not a perfect bike but has no dents or dings in the tins. The AMF retro tank decal has some sun spotting on it. See the walk around for details and the photo gallery. There are minor blemishes but overall a good looking bike at an amazing price. The 1200 motor packs some punch. The actual mileage on the bike is 8,884 but the title was marked in error in 2024 with 12,856.
The Sportster has been the most recognized small Harley even though it really is a rather heavy bike for what is considered “Entry Level”. Not surprising some Harley riders with bigger bikes add a Sportster to their own garage for the quick run-around trip without bringing out the “big gun”. It is heavy enough to ride solid yet agile enough to just fling it around. Loved by shorter and female riders for its easy handling and loved by big guys for the power/weight ratio.
The Sportster is offered in two power units. The traditional 883 engine and the 1200 engine. Both are equally interesting bikes with tons of options by aftermarket manufacturers to customize this bike from head to toe for small money.

This classic 883 Iron is a very nice low mile bike with small flaws that bring the price of the bike way into affordable territory. Denim red with denim black is a stunning color combo and shows off the bikes beautiful timeless lines. The tires are good and have plenty life left, oil is good all around the bike is ready to go for some nice rides. Flaws: The oil reservoir on the handlebar has a scrape that ground down the metal but does not effect functionality. It has been painted over so noticeable only if you look. Same with a small scratch on the lower fork tube right and a small scratch on the rear fender. See our walk around videos for full condition. Overall you are getting an amazing bike at an even better price. The year before last when this iconic ride was available.
