The Chief Bobber is the ultimate big bore street legal Bobber. Fitted with the 116ci Thunderstroke this bike delivers a decisive punch and transfers it on the under700Lbs frame propelling this bike past its Harley rivals. This bike is NOT for your first time rider. It requires a certain skill level to tame the horses unleashed in this motor. The Chief Bobber is able to give you a smooth comfortable ride but you know it is asking for throttle and wants to buck. Hold on and keep looking forward.
The condition of this bike is virtually new however there are some small scratches on the rear fender that are deeper and should be addressed or just put a passenger seat and you won’t even know they are there. Check out the walk-around video on our website for complete details on condition.
The oldest motorcycle company in the US is not as most people believe Harley Davidson but Indian Motorcycle Company. Founded in 1901 two years before Harley they have been making classic iconic motorcycles for decades. During WWII the company was an essential supplier of motorcycles to the US military and after the war struggled in making the transition back to the civilian market. Their operation came to an end in the early 50s. The company was bought by Polaris in 2011, who just a few years earlier started the very successful “Victory” brand.
Polaris invested a lot of money in designing a new frame and a brand new engine for just this bike. Two years later the Chief was introduced followed a year later by the Scout. Classic lines of the long swooped fenders and the icon war bonnet on the front fender with exceptional built quality made the new Indian a feared competitor to Harley Davidson who did not have much competition before in the domestic market.

2016 Indian Springfield
Motor: 1,819cc (111ci Thunderstroke)
Frame: Touring
Transmission: 6-speed
Mileage: 31,015
Stock: 16IN94-0387
The “Springfield” is the cross between the cruiser “Chief” and the touring “Chieftain”. While it does not have the full front fairing of the Chieftain it does offer central locking hard saddle bags and the windshield as a standard equipment making it a perfect short touring bike as well as a nice riding lighter cruiser.
This particular Springfield had been registered last in 3/2024 with 29K miles and when we acquired it had the LCD display melted with sun damage. At that time the mileage reading was 31,010. A new speedometer was installed (the old one comes in a box) and a new seat was installed. Otherwise this bike is in nice condition with minimal flaws for a 8 year old bike. Comes with an optional rear passenger sissy bar and luggage rack.

2015 Indian Roadmaster
KBB Trade In value: $ 13,700, KBB Retail: $17,885
Motor: 1,818cc
Frame: Touring
Transmission: 6-speed
Mileage: 29,760 on odometer
Stock: 15IN25-7497
This Roadmaster is overall is in good condition, but certainly has signs of wear and tear.
Most noticeably the bike hat been dropped at low speed on the left-hand side. There are scrapes on the engine guard, the lower fairing and the upper fairing. Also, the LCD display is damaged from sunlight and should be replaced for full functionality. Tires are good, new grips and a brand new upgraded OEM 2021 one-up seat. This is a one-owner bike with the mileage reported inaccurately as 31,000 by the HD dealer who took this bike in on trade. A clear mistake and easily fixed. Ride 1,241 miles and the discrepancy disappears. Price is almost $10,000 under Kelley Blue retail.
The ABS light is on as well as the speedometer not working indicating the wheel speed sensor is dirty or needs to be replaced. Therefore the check-engine light is on. Front brake pads are noisy and probably need to be replaced but they still grip.
