Great looking and great riding bike. Tires have plenty meat left on them. Nothing to do here but ride it like it was meant to be. Make no mistake this is not a beginner bike. Scouts have incredible power. The unique seating position will keep you comfortable but will make you throttle happy.

The oldest motorcycle company in the US is not as most people believe Harley Davidson but Indian Motorcycle Company. Founded in 1901 two years before Harley they have been making classic iconic motorcycles for decades. During WWII the company was an essential supplier of motorcycles to the US military and after the war struggled in making the transition back to the civilian market. Their operation came to an end in the early 50s. The company was bought by Polaris in 2011, who just a few years earlier started the very successful “Victory” brand.
Polaris invested a lot of money in designing a new frame and a brand new engine for just this bike. Two years later the Chief was introduced followed a year later by the Scout. Classic lines of the long swooped fenders and the icon war bonnet on the front fender with exceptional built quality made the new Indian a feared competitor to Harley Davidson who did not have much competition before in the domestic market.

Amazing looking bike in two tone “Maroon Metallic with Crimson Metallic”. The bike was fitted with a windshield that is easily removed to gain back thee stunning look of a Scout.
This bike was a one owner bike in Florida before it was traded in and the dealer there could not get the mileage off the display because the function button on the handlebar is not working. So they put 90K miles on the title making this a “not actual miles” branded title. I am sure when you fix the multi-function switch the mileage comes back with a lot less giving the condition and age of the bike but all that comes at a heavy discount. KBB retail value of this bike is $11,000. We are selling almost $2000 under KBB Trade-In value!
Small damage on the rear fender around the tail light (see walk around video) and pegs should be replaced. The shifter peg is a makeshift peg but you can find a new set (shifter and brake) on eBay for as low as $22.
This is the full size motor Scout with 100HP and 6-speed gearbox.
